Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will Honor Carol Burnett at Saturday’s Screen Actors Guild Awards

Brush up on a few of Burnett’s best moments before she accepts her Life Achievement Award

Three of the funniest women in comedy will share a stage January 30 at the Screen Actors Guild Awards when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler present the legendary Carol Burnett with a Life Achievement accolade. If you’re unfamiliar with Burnett’s work, here is your chance to educate yourself before the big show. Check out three of the comedian’s best performances below, then laugh ’til you cry this Saturday. The show will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET.

Burnett as “Starlet O’Hara” in the Carol Burnett Show parody of Gone with the Wind is a riot. “Went with the Wind” is so iconic that the Bob Mackie-designed curtain rod dress that she wore in the sketch now hangs at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.

Many an actress has portrayed Annie’s nasty yet hilarious caretaker Miss Hannigan, but Burnett’s 1982 take was tops.

Last but not least, Burnett’s turn as Once Upon a Mattress’ shy, shy, shy Princess Winifred—the role she originated on Broadway—puts her matchless talent on display.
