Timothy Olyphant and Will Forte Use USC/UCLA Rivalry to Help Raise Money for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank

Their pumped up PSA will run on the jumbotron during Saturday’s UCLA vs. USC game

If you are going to the UCLA vs. USC football game on Saturday (USC is hosting at the Coliseum), be sure to look up at the jumbotron at some point. Timothy Olyphant (USC, ’90) and Will Forte (UCLA, ’93) have taped a PSA for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in an effort to “Tackle Hunger” that will air on the massive screen during the game. The actors are using the famed rivalry to start a donation battle asking Bruins and Trojans to text $10 to the Food Bank using “GoUCLA” or “GoUSC” 41444 on their phones. Campus food and fund drives have already been in the works the last two weeks leading up to this weekend’s game.

If you aren’t going to the game, you can still see a version of the PSA here complete with outtakes. Check out the spirited foam finger usage by Olyphant and Forte has definitely been in the stands for a game. Go Los Angeles Regional Food Bank!
