Actor Michael Trevino, rocker Pete Wentz, and celebulite Paris Hilton walked the red carpet outside the Supper Club in Hollywood last Wednesday night to celebrate the release of Steve Aoki’s debut album Wonderland. Inside, DJ Datsik warmed up the crowd with dubstep, then handed the turntables over to Aoki, who embarked on a 60-day bus tour of the U.S. and Canada the next day. The DJ and founder of Dim Mak Records thanked the crowd for its support (his album reached the number five spot on iTunes’ Top 10 Dance Albums) then played an entire set of his music, during which dollar bills and confetti showered the crowd, aerial dancers performed, and bartenders held up sparklers. Aoki crowd surfed on a yellow raft, threw cake at fans, and sprayed champagne from him mouth, too. Not a bad night, for a rock star.
