Everyone showed up for the Unbroken premiere—the cast, half of the Jolie-Pitts, WWII veterans, the USC marching band. Everyone but the director…

Just about everyone stopped by the Dolby for the premiere of Universal Picture’s Unbroken last night. Brad Pitt hit the carpet with his parents and three of his children (Maddox, Pax, and Shiloh), while spouse/director Angelina Jolie was absent, sidelined with “a mild bout of chicken pox.” But that didn’t stop the celebration surrounding the movie based on Olympian Louis Zamperini. The USC Marching Band played in the lobby of the Dolby before the screening of the film and then it was up to the Dolby’s Ballroom (where the Oscars Governors Ball is held) for even more celebrating. This is the second film Jolie has directed and it hits theaters on Christmas Day.
