Last night, the Japan National Tourism Organization threw a party celebrating a big number—one million American travelers to Japan in 2015. It simply confirms what Zosia Mamet’s character Shoshana declared in this week’s episode of GIRLS about the country, “If I had to create a place in my mind, this would be it.” Everyone from the Consul General of Japan to writer Patricia Schultz (1,000 Places to See Before You Die) stopped by the Japanese American National Museum yesterday to celebrate the impressive figure and devour dinner by Chef Akira Hirose (Maison Akira). Omedetou gozaimasu!
