Grammy Weekend: Sounds Like a Party

As you read this musicians are celebrating somewhere in L.A.

Delta Airlines managed to pull off one the hardest things to do in L.A.: get a bunch of interesting people in one room at the same time.

The airline threw a Grammy bash last night at the Soho House that attracted everyone from Gary Dell’Abate (Baba Booey) of The Howard Stern Show to Anne Hathaway (very lovey-dovey with husband Adam Shulman). You had Questlove of The Roots (he motored over quickly after the last Tonight Show in L.A. wrapped at Universal) DJing before Charli XCX got onstage for a six song set. R&B crooner Miguel chatted up all the ladies in the house, and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra looked fab inching her way through the crowd. Who else showed up? Adam Levine (with wife Behati Prinsloo), Estelle, Victoria Justice, and Zedd, among many others.

This is the official Grammy airline’s second ‘do during one of the most creative party weekends of the year in L.A. Grammy parties (pre- and post-show) are another breed—they top the scales in creativity, money spent, late hours, and talent onstage. You couldn’t get down Sunset last night without running into packed celebrations like Snoop Dogg’s pre-Grammy concert at the Palladium, Jennifer Hudson’s Turn It Up for Change Ball at the W Hotel, and Essence magazine’s Black Women in Music event at the Avalon. So when you see the show on Sunday, know that everyone warmed up starting last night (and they’ll all keep going until Monday morning).
