Reformation’s New “Obvious Collection” is as Cool as We Hoped It’d Be, Obviously

The eco-friendly brand is also being friendly to our wallets with its new line

There’s a new way to look on trend without parting with all the cash in your fringed shoulder bag: Reformation this week launched the Obvious Collection, a line of tops, body suits, and outerwear named for its obvious need to be in your closet.

Fans of Reformation (Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Karlie Kloss have all donned designer Yael Aflalo’s dresses) will be happy to know that the Obvious Collection is sold at a lower price point. With items ranging from $28-$178, Aflalo’s newest brainchild evokes archetypal Los Angeles style and references her Beverly Hills roots with looks like the fitted Armada top (above) and high-waisted faded jeans. The grunge-y Jane Dress in black and the flowy bohemian Academy Dress are the perfect recall to days with warmer weather.

Aflalo has said she created this line without shying away from the eco-smart manufacturing or sartorial quality Reformation is known for. In fact, the Obvious Collection uses even more materials made in America and a larger percentage of those materials are made from more sustainable fibers, when compared with Aflalo’s previous collections. So, that basic Austin tee (which comes in a multitude of colors and patterns in true Ref form) and faux fur Brinsley coat will keep you looking chic for years to come. See the line for yourself below!
