DTLA’s Ever-Expanding Arts District Adds a Home Market This Weekend

Former TLC show host Nadia Gellar is opening a Parisian flea market-inspired shop

The renaissance of the Arts District just got a push. Interior designer Nadia Geller (you may recognize her from her former role as host of shows like Trading Spaces and While You Were Out) is re-opening a home market next to Daily Dose Cafe. Geller modeled both the vibe and the inventory of the shop after a Parisian flea market, so you can sieve through the homey, eclectic space for one-of-a-kind treasures at a range of price points.

The shop is a smorgasbord of hard-to-find gifts, custom furniture and upholstery, rugs, vintage pieces, candles, soap, jewelry and artwork–much of which is locally made. To honor its immersion into the burgeoning neighborhood, the bazaar will even host monthly events, ranging from wood art and tie-dye workshops to book signings.

Nadia Geller Designs Market opens tomorrow, so be sure to pop over after having a slice of edible flower toast at Daily Dose’s Toast Pop-up. Your weekend will be a feast for the senses.
