High fashion met rowdy football last Sunday during Katy Perry’s halftime show, which included three costume changes, two celebrity appearances, and a giant, prismatic lion. Perry’s outfits, designed by Jeremy Scott, matched her Technicolor performance: they were colorful, sparkly, and literal (it doesn’t get more “California Gurls” than a beach ball-style crop top).
Perry pushed the logistical boundary when she pumped out four distinct looks during her 12-minute set, but the one constant was Perry’s custom pair of LaDuca booties. The shoes boast 12,600 Swarvoski crystals and were custom-encrusted by celeb accessory blinger Erin Lareau. Evoke Perry’s sparklers with Saint Laurent’s glitter-finished ankle boots. Pair with a Jeremy Scott-designed Moschino handbag or your favorite football team’s colors—after all, glitz goes with everything.
