Todd Reed’s jewelry is opulent without being over the top. The designer works with luxurious materials, but the finished pieces are casual and unique. In place of faceted diamonds, Reed favors raw ones. He treats gold and sterling silver so that the finishes are matte and occasionally tarnished. His work is hand-fabricated in his workshops in Boulder, Colorado, and in Venice, using ecologically-mined, sustainable, and re-purposed materials.
Stop by Reed’s Abbot Kinney store on July 9 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. to have dinner and meet the designer. The evening will include an intimate and informal interview with Reed about his inspiration, passions, advice to novice designers, and, of course, his jewelry. Tickets are limited and required.
