Deborah Sussman Gets a Bag

LACMA is handing out the tribute carryalls to gift store customers

When Deborah Sussman passed away at the age of 83 in August, she left behind a legacy of making our city more colorful. She’s still at it. In honor of the designer, purchases made at LACMA’s gift store will (for a limited time) be wrapped and carried out in one of four bags featuring Sussman’s work in her signature palette—rich teals, yellows, and magentas. It’s a small but chic and fitting tribute for an artist whose mark could always be spotted out and about.
