Burberry’s L.A. Crush is Reciprocated

Our city responds to the iconic British brand’s courtship by honoring its creative director with a Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Award

We couldn’t help but notice the love Burberry has been giving our fair city recently—L.A. landmarks (see if you can pick ’em out in the photos above) currently appear on men’s silk scarves and T-shirts and women’s leather bags and wallets. And the new Burberry boutique in Beverly Hills offers a bevy of L.A.-exclusive products. Tonight L.A. returns the love. The iconic British brand’s Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey was inducted into Rodeo Drive’s Walk of Style this evening. The award was presented by famous fashion photographer and previous Rodeo Drive Walk of Style inductee Mario Testino. Given the mutual affections is it possible Bailey was California dreaming’ when he styled his models in blanket shawls for his fall/winter collection? We think so.
