Beauty Counter Intelligence: A Pretty Soap That’s Pretty Amazing

Osmia Organics’ lavender mint bar is refreshingly natural

Loving pretty soaps doesn’t require deep thinking, but Osmia Organics natural soaps, which are free of harsh detergents and pore-clogging ingredients, could inspire mindfulness. These cleansing gems are made with such rich concentrations of organic plant oil and botanicals that I found myself ditching my customary fruity shower gel for them. Soft yet fragrant, the Lavender Mint ($12) gets its subtle fern green coloring from chlorophyll, which is know for its detoxing properties. The bars are handmade in batches of 33 to 40 and then cured for eight weeks, giving the soaps a longer life span than Dove’s. They rinse clean without leaving a filmy residue, too.
