Beauty Counter Intelligence: A Fragrance for Humans and Everything Else, Too

Diptyque’s new launch is quite the multitasker

Multifunctional beauty products are a plenty. Multifunctional fragrances? Not yet. In fact, Diptyque has launched the first I’ve ever seen: Eau Plurielle ($90), an all-purpose spray for linens or lamp shades, office spaces, Fido’s fleece bed, and you. Think of it as perfumed water. The amazingly fresh, light green floral scent (from Turkish roses and ivy) is unfussy and casual, though wears quite long on the skin. While I’m tempted to blow through the bottle using it on my line-dried laundry, I may just stick with spritzing it over my hair for a softer, more romantic effect.
