Alton Brown is Celebrating National Bow Tie Day Like a Boss

He has his own neckwear line, after all

Alton Brown knows his way around men’s neckwear like he does the kitchen, so it made sense when the Food Network host and L.A. native partnered with hook+ALBERT last year to design a line of bow ties. This season’s collection—Brown’s second with the accessories brand—features four ties and two pocket squares (all reversible) for “guys who have never given bow ties a thought.”

“These are ties I wanted for myself but couldn’t’ find,” says Brown. “They’re eccentric but wearable and very clothes friendly.” The looks, which are inspired by global cuisine, have names like “Roma Marina” and “I Meant Julep,” scoring Brown full points for presentation.
