The Bloc Brings Great Food and Drink Options To Bustling DTLA

The Bloc, a three-level outdoor urbane retail center located at 700 W. 7th Street in Downtown Los Angeles, is packed with dining options, whether you want to eat a full meal as you watch a movie at the newly opened Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, meet friends for cocktails, or just grab a quick snack. The Bloc is easily accessible by car, foot, and the Metro where the red, blue, and purple lines converge at the 7th Street Metro Center Station. Check out these restaurants, cafés, and bars that will have you wanting more:

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema

This coffee spot prides itself on sourcing high-quality coffee beans and offering organic and fair-trade coffee and teas. On a hot day, an ice-blended “S’Blendid” really hits the spot, but DRNK doesn’t limit itself to beverages. They serve salads and hot and cold sandwiches, too.

When you buy a nutritious grab-and-go meal from Everytable, located on The Bloc’s plaza level, you’re supporting their mission to bring affordable wholesome foods to parts of the city that have less access to healthy food. The menu is influenced by the culture of Los Angeles, and features varied options such as Jamaican jerk chicken, sesame teriyaki tofu, and a Mediterranean grain bowl.
