High Above the City Streets, OUE Skyspace Offers a Fresh Perspective on Los Angeles

The view is just the beginning

It’s easy to forget how beautiful Los Angeles is, especially if you’re dealing with day-to-day frustrations like sitting in traffic. When you have the opportunity to see it all from above, such as from OUE Skyspace LA, it’s a reminder of just how spectacular this city is and how much it has to offer.

Nearly 1,000 feet above street level, OUE Skyspace LA is located in the U.S. Bank Tower. It offers panoramic, 360-degree views, stretching from the mountains to the ocean. For an even better look, head outside onto the tallest open-air observation decks in California. As you take in the view, see how many L.A. landmarks you can spot—the Hollywood sign, Capitol Records, Dodger’s Stadium and many more—and then pose for photos in front of a pair of artist Colette Miller’s iconic angel wings. They’re painted directly on the glass, so it’ll look like you’re spreading your wings over the city.

Beautiful scenery isn’t all you’ll find at OUE Skyspace LA. One of OUE Skyspace LA’s most popular elements is the Skyslide, a 45-foot fully-enclosed slide on the exterior of the tower. In fact, the whole space is designed as an immersive experience. On the 54th floor, explore interactive exhibits on the culture, community and people that make Los Angeles unique. Peer down an elevator shaft covered in mirrors, interact with a digital silhouette wall, and hear stories from some of the many celebrities who call L.A. home.

OUE Skyspace LA recently opened a bar in the observation level that serves drinks and small bites. The breathtaking views in every direction pair beautifully with a signature Skyspace cocktail, a glass of California wine, or beer from a local brewery. OUE Skyspace LA regularly hosts public events including live music performances, yoga classes and paint nights. OUE Skyspace LA is located at 633 West Fifth Street and open every day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
