City of Hope is dedicated to patients with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Its impressive 110-acre campus includes the Helford Clinical Research Hospital, featuring the latest technological advancements in fighting cancer. It’s also home to the Sheri & Les Biller Patient and Family Resource Center, offering emotional care practitioners and services ranging from social workers, psychiatrists, nutritionists, and spiritual providers to healing arts programs.

In addition, City of Hope’s community practice sites bring world-class cancer treatment to patients in South Pasadena and the Antelope Valley.

Honors and Recognition
City of Hope is a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. It is a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and is ranked by U.S.News & World Report as one of “America’s Best Cancer Hospitals.” City of Hope is a founding member of the National Bone Marrow Transplantation Research Network and is accredited by the Joint Commission.

Specialties and Research
City of Hope speeds the path from laboratory discoveries to treatment, which has led to breakthrough cancer drugs that are saving lives all over the world. This highly regarded scientific institution is known for treating all cancers and has many leadership credentials including the largest programs for breast and prostate cancer in California; one of the world’s largest and most successful programs for leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma, with more than 10,000 bone marrow and stem cell transplants performed; and skilled surgeons with more experience performing robotic procedures than any hospital in the area.
