[Culver City]

When Tin Vuong, chef-owner of Little Sister and Día de Campo, decided to give his Culver City pizzeria a conceptual makeover, he recruited Bryant Wigger of Pasadena’s Trattoria Neapolis. You’ll now find hand-rolled curls of pasta tossed with braised mushrooms and silky lamb tartare with currants. The expanded bill of fare can be overambitious—Vuong often opts for two garnishes when one would suffice—but this is still a neighborhood osteria, and stopping by for buttermilk-fried smelt and a pour of house-made limoncello is perfectly acceptable. The tangy wood-fired sourdough pies remain as popular as ever. » 9725 Culver Blvd., 310-815-8100 or wildcraftcc.com
