Everything really is bigger in Texas.
In honor of the renaming of one of its most popular beers, Texas-based brewery Austin Beerworks has released a special 99-pack of its Peacemaker Anytime Ale, packaged in a 7-foot-long cardboard box. That’s 99 12-ounce cans, totaling just over half-a-keg’s worth of beer. It takes two people to carry—at least—and costs $99.
If you think this is just a promotional joke, think again. Austin Beerworks announced via Twitter that they plan to begin selling the 99-packs in select stores (apparently right now they’ve only made 20, but plan to manufacture more).
In the mean time, check out the entertaining video above and daydream about what you would do with a box filled with 99 beers. Perhaps, take one out, pass it around—98 cans of beer in the box…
