Mexican wrestling masks, people doing the limbo, and maybe even a some flames—that the sort of madness you can expect at Rob Floyd’s Cocktail Theatre. Floyd, a molecular mixologist, who has worked on drink programs for the likes of The Roosevelt Hotel and Chateau Marmont, is back in L.A. for two live shows in June.

Part educational, part mayhem, the 70-minute performance touches on the history of cocktails and includes drinks and food. This time around, the theme will be Mad Men inspired to pay tribute to the show’s finale.

Floyd has been doing the show for two years now, and the dates tend to sell out. The next show is on June 14 at 41 Ocean in Santa Monica—tickets, which can be purchased online, are $70 each. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show kicks off at 7 p.m. If you miss that one, there’s another at The Church Key on June 28. Check Rob Floyd’s Web site for more details.
