The Food Event 2015

On Sunday, October 18, Los Angeles magazine celebrated the 10th anniversary of its annual epicurean extravaganza

Nearly 3,000 guests gathered at the picturesque Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu to indulge in delectable samples from over 40 of L.A.’s top restaurants, hand-selected by our James Beard Award-winning editorial team. Malibu Family Wines was prevalent on site with samplings from their impressive portfolio along with 35 additional wineries from a variety of California vineyards. Handcrafted cocktails were flowing from Don Julio and Karma. The Belgian Beer Café served ice cold pints of Stella Artois, Leffe, and Hoegaarden. And Bai served up natural beverages for those who preferred something a little lighter.

The popular Chef Demonstration Tent was hosted by Alex Thompoulos of and featured kitchen equipment from Sub-Zero/Wolf. Chefs performing demos and sharing recipes included Neal Fraser, Brooke Williamson, Eric Greenspan, and David LeFevre. Guests were gifted tote bags as they admired the Infiniti Q70L and 2016 QX50 in the Infiniti Lounge, experienced the luxuries of Delano Las Vegas at their sound bar, enjoyed games and a photo booth sponsored by The Bay Club, and tasted artisan bread from Boulart before heading to the official after-party at The Malibu Café at Calamigos Ranch.
