KCET & The Autry Team Up For Environmental Documentary TENDING THE WILD Premiere Screening Event


KCETLink Media Group, in partnership with the Autry Museum of the American West and media sponsor Los Angeles magazine, hosted a screening event Thursday, January 26, 2017, at the Autry Museum of the American West in Los Angeles, CA for KCET and Link TV’s new documentary special, TENDING THE WILD.

The new documentary special premiered on kcet.org/tendingthewild and KCET on Tues., Feb. 7 at 9 p.m. highlighting Native communities’ traditions, emphasizing the necessity for humans to live in balance with nature.

KCETLink’s President/CEO Michael Riley and the Autry’s President & CEO W. Richard West Jr. were joined by many of the cast and crew of the documentary, as well as Native American cultural educators and documentary subjects Tima Lotah Link (Shmuwich Chumash), Kat High (Hupa), the Chia Café’s Craig Torres (Tongva) and Nick Hummingbird (Cahuilla/Apache), as well as KCET’s SOCAL CONNECTED anchor Val Zavala and reporter Nic Cha Kim.
