Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles 2016 Builders Ball®

On Thursday, October 13th, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) held its Los Angeles Builders Ball® at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, honoring Trammell Crow Company, Delta Air Lines and Mauricio Umansky, CEO of The Agency, for their contributions to the community. This annual event celebrates Habitat LA’s counterparts in the building and real estate industry, as well as partners and donors, who are helping transform the landscape of Los Angeles for the better.

The more than 800 attendees helped raise over $775, 0000 to directly benefit their Building a Greater Los Angeles campaign, helping them move closer toward their goal of empowering families and building long-term strength and stability in local communities.

Habitat LA also welcomed attendees Derek Fisher, Tina Knowles Lawson, Million Dollar Listing stars, James Harris and David Parnes and Partner Homeowner, Jose Tobar Jr., who shared how his family has been forever changed by their Habitat LA home, completed during the 1995 Carter Work Project. The Official Prince Tribute Band capped off an amazing evening with a performance that included an appearance by Grammy-nominated R&B singer, Shanice Wilson.
