Los Angeles magazine’s January issue was brought to life with the fifth annual Top 10 Best New Restaurants celebration.
The event was held at Rolling Greens in Downtown Los Angeles where guests were surrounded by lush greenery and graffiti art. The space was complemented with Porsche Macan and Porsche Cayman displays along with luxurious Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams lounges. Throughout the evening attendees sampled signature dishes from past and present “Top 10” honorees including scallop crudo from the #1 restaurant, Bavel, a Koshihikari rice pot with wild Japanese yellowtail prepared by Hayato and the dish of the year, Majordōmo’s short rib ssäm.
The tastings were paired with Maker’s Mark handcrafted cocktails, Duvel Belgian beer, organic hard kombucha from Flying Embers, along with wines from Broadbent Selections, Malene, Riboli Family Wines, The Blending Lab and Topa Mountain Winery. Guests also enjoyed gourmet s’mores crafted by S’moreology and ice cold Boxed Water. The event’s charity partner was the LA Galaxy Foundation.
