On Thursday, September 28, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) held its 2017 Los Angeles Builders Ball® at the Beverly Hilton, honoring “Sugar” Ray Leonard, Luc Robitaille and Morley Builders, for their contributions to the community. This annual event celebrates Habitat LA’s counterparts in the building and real estate industry, as well as partners and donors, who are helping transform the landscape of Los Angeles for the better.
The more than 800 attendees helped raise more than half a million dollars to directly benefit their Building a Greater Los Angeles campaign, helping them to reach their goal of empowering families and building long-term strength and stability in local communities.
Habitat LA also welcomed attendees Tina Knowles Lawson, Cookie Johnson, and Partner Homeowners, the Mulvihill Family, who shared how Habitat LA is changing their family’s life. R&B superstars, En Vogue capped off an amazing evening with a performance that everyone dancing in their seats.
