This DTLA Pop-Up Will Be the Ultimate “Beauty Wonderland”

SEPHORiA brings the glitter, glitz, and glam–for one weekend only

Sephora knows about all those times you’ve come into the store just to wander the aisles and play with all the fun, colorful products–and not only do they not mind, they’re throwing a pop-up event that takes that experience to the extreme. On October 20 and 21, they’ll be turning the Majestic Downtown into SEPHORiA for something they call an “experiential beauty wonderland.”

“We’ve drawn from our deep understanding of the kinds of physical and digital beauty experiences clients love,” says Sephora marketing exec Deborah Yeh. “[We] set out to create the ultimate event that fuses fun, education and inspiration, and gives our community a place where they can live out all of their beauty fantasies.”

Inside SEPHORiA’s House of Beauty, you’ll find an array of different themed areas. There’s the Glitter Party, a sparkly chamber where you can sip glitter cocktails, dance, and try out glitzy products from Milk Makeup, Stila, IGK, and others; the Foundation Closet where you can find your perfect match from hundreds of foundation options; the Suds Room for cleansers and skincare; a Makeover Vanity for on-the-spot services from Benefit, Drybar, and Sephora makeup artists; and a café, garden, lip lounge, and fragrance bar. Each space is fully decked-out for photo-ops, of course.

Hardcore makeup mavens will head straight to the Masterclass Theater for talks and demos from cosmetic-world celebs like Chrissy Teigen, Elaine Welteroth, Priscilla Ono of Fenty Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury, and Angel Merino. Booking tickets to the Saturday or Sunday evening sessions also includes access to nightly after-parties with surprise DJ guests.

Tickets for all this don’t come cheap. Passes are available in Bronze ($99), Silver ($249), and Gold ($449) tiers. Each pass includes entry to the event and a gift bag with merchandise of a retail value higher than the ticket price. The event is divided into four sessions–with tickets good for one of the four, so be sure to check the event schedule to make sure you’ll get a chance to see your favorite speakers.
