Lipslut, an L.A.-based cosmetics startup, has never made a secret of their political leanings. From their launch last year, the company has donated half of its proceeds to progressive organizations. This week, the brand is stepping things up even further, donating 100 percent of earnings to organizations that campaign for the protection of reproductive rights.
Typically, each color in the range is linked to a certain charity partner, but through May 24, the entire line will be eligible for the “Keep Abortion Safe” fundraiser. That means you can select from options including Notorious R.B.G (bright berry), F*ck Kavanaugh (deep red), or the classic, F*ck Trump (medium pink).
The fundraiser comes as a response to abortion restrictions passed recently in states including Georgia, Missouri, and Alabama.
“Needless to say, as a young woman, these bans hit close to home, Lipslut founder Katie Sones told Hello Giggles. “Women have a right to control their own bodies. It scares me that people want to change that.”
