If tomato sauce is in your blood, get ready for the first ever Pizza Fest L.A., taking place April 29th and 30th at L.A. Live.

Bite into styles of pies ranging from Sicilian, artisan, Neapolitan, Detroit—and even a few classified as “L.A. Style”—from 40 of Southern California’s best pizzerias slinging pies fresh from the oven. Wash them down with complimentary beer, wine, and soda.

When not strolling and eating, relax and take in well-curated panels on topics such as the “Dough Whisperers” with chef Daniele Uditi (Pizzana) and Evan Funke (pastamaker and chef at Felix and Mother Wolf). Learn how to make pan pizza at home, or chill at the “Collab Lab” where say, independent bakers and artisanal produce suppliers throw down in one-of-a-kind foodie mashups.

Pizza Fest supports young culinary students in L.A. and benefits Careers Through Culinary Arts Los Angeles, a workforce development group that provides underserved teenagers a chance of success through jobs in the culinary arts.

Tickets are $95, and selling briskly—only a limited number remain, so hurry if you’re serious about your ‘za.
