In June, BuzzFeed teamed up with Hyundai to introduce a new and effortless way to rock the festival scene. Kamp Kona—a 3-stop music festival with a focus on pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in art, culture, and music—toured Santa Fe, Los Angeles, and Marfa.
When Kamp Kona rolled through The Echoplex in L.A., the sold-out show was nothing short of spectacular. The parking lot was filled with a food truck, photo booths, a lassoing coach, and there was even a station that measured people’s electromagnetic aura and printed it directly onto their portraits. Once inside, guests heard performances by J.F. Harris, Fat Tony, and Best Coast, before ending the night with one of Dan Deacon’s famous interactive dance sets.
