There’s never an intimidating moment during the six weeks of secular-based instruction, as Weiss advises on everything from how to sit to “compassionate awareness.” He keeps in touch with students between classes, sending e-mails with links to meditation tools and words of encouragement. We haven’t felt this anxiety free since childhood.
