Vintageweave Interiors

Best Parisian Imports, November 2006

The place may smell of soap (albeit imported lavande or jasmin scents) and the distressed cabinets might support pedestal cake plates, but Vintageweave Interiors is not to be mistaken for Grandmother’s musty living room. Owner Kathy Delgado, who has modeled her cluttered boutique after a Left Bank flea market, makes regular pilgrimages to Paris in search of antique, vintage, and vintage-inspired home accessories like French fabric cushions (1880 to new), farmhouse tables that predate the Eiffel Tower, and ornate glass chandeliers. We’re particularly fond of the garden ornaments that look swiped from the Jardin du Luxembourg, and the random baskets of Côte Bastide bath gels for the w.c. and Bougie Parfumée candles for the boudoir.
