Toddle Tunes

Best Kids’ Music Class, August 2008

At Toddle Tunes, teachers toss aside corny renditions of “Hokey Pokey” and “This Old Man” for jazz versions with a tenor sax and an upright bass or a bluegrass interpretation on banjo and mandolin. Classes are divided by age, with infants putting their hands on instruments to feel the vibrations and four- to six-year-olds learning how to perform together by starting at the same time and keeping a beat.
