Puzzle Zoo

Best Puzzle Store, June 2007

Jigsaw enthusiasts are always craving ever more wicked challenges—like a 10,000-piece version of Hieronymus Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights or perhaps a postage-stamp-size King Tut whose 99 pieces can only be put together with tweezers. For 14 years Puzzle Zoo has sought to satisfy such quixotic needs. The specialty shop, which also stocks hard-to-find toys, displays just a fraction of its thousand-plus jigsaws on its overflowing shelves, so if you don’t see what you want, ask owner Jay Demircift, who’ll be glad to check his warehouse or order it for you.
