House of Honey

Tamara Kaye-Honey’s recently expanded shop is a showcase for her interior design business, where she creates vignettes with contemporary and vintage furniture and accessories. A midcentury-modern mahogany desk has been propped with a Lucite stapler and tape dispenser from Russell and Hazel. A dining room table is set with Seletti’s stackable porcelain plates that create a 3-D model of Florence’s Palazzo Signoria. Acrylic Regency side tables share space in a sitting room with oversize chairs and barware, while a mix of modern and ’70s-era sunglasses, jewelry, and handbags are artfully arranged on a dresser. Browsing here feels more like snooping through someone’s home.
