Fitzsu Society

Best Designer Toys, November 2007

Most toys are garish and flimsy—in short, we can’t wait to toss them in the donation bin. Can’t a plaything be fun and aesthetically pleasing, too? Fitzsu Society, one of L.A.’s top design stores, carries a finely tuned selection of kids’ stuff that no parent will be embarrassed to have littering the den: plywood play strollers from Germany and speedster cars from Sweden, abstract pinewood dolls from mid-century master Alexander Girard and whacked-out polyester dolls from contemporary master Takashi Murakami.
