Best Antique Jewelry, July 2007
The two-story Antiquarius has gathered 25 independent vendors under one roof, carrying everything from Georgian to Victorian to art nouveau treasures. At Claude Morady, 1930s platinum bracelets nestle against Burmese jade pins; at Nadine Krakov, brooches and earrings date to the 18th century. Neil Lane is the celebrity among the vendors here, since many of his clients are celebrities, but there are other dealers who specialize in vintage pieces by Cartier and Buccellati. Prices range from a few hundred to a few hundred thousand.
