No matter the incarnation of this white bungalow at the end of Zuma’s Westward Beach Road, you can always count on a wedding taking place out front. The upstairs dining room is light, nautical, and serene; downstairs is raucous with live music and pricey drinks. New chef Jake Rojas’s menu is small but tight, filled out by a raw bar and nightly specials like duck breast with duck confit or a flavorful jidori chicken. On the more casual bar menu, pulled pork sliders on brioche buns are the way to go. There’s sand on the front step, a bridesmaid at the bar, and an ocean view at every table.
