The Galley

Colored Christmas lights and fishing nets hang from the ceiling, and memorabilia from Mutiny on the Bounty, filmed the year the Galley opened (1934), adorn the walls. What’s not to like about this happy joint with blue Naugahyde booths? The food’s geared to hearty appetites: giant shrimp with cocktail sauce, filet mignon chili, enormous plates of pasta. Owner “Capt. Ron” is in attendance most nights, and the ladies who tend bar are known for their pours.
