Sushi Sasabune

The Westside sushi favorite is now installed on the ground floor of an office tower. The sprawling room is low on atmosphere (square tables set with soy sauce bottles) but packed with customers who accede to the “Trust me!” motto printed on the chopstick wrappers and promulgated by the waitstaff. They’ll work with allergies and preferences but encourage you to let the sushi chefs, a white-hatted team at center stage, decide. Their fare tends toward simple preparations made with screamingly fresh ingredients.
