Sol Y Luna
It’s always convivial at this plant-filled, mural-covered dining room and bar, where carved sunbirds rest on anything that doesn’t move. A guitar player starts singing Mexican tunes in the early evening, when there is often a 25-minute wait for a table. The margaritas are icy; the burritos (served “gringo” style with sauce and cheese or “traditionally” minus the extras) are densely packed but surprisingly light. Guacamole is made tableside, and birthday boys and girls get their picture taken in a sombrero.
