Rush Street

The “bar-centric” cuisine lures a clubby clientele to this addition to the Culver City strip. As expected, the menu includes buffalo chicken lollipops and beef and pulled pork sliders. Roasted marrowbones with short ribs, seared sand dabs, and a pork flatiron steak go above and beyond bar fare, though not always well. For a restaurant whose name evokes Chicago, the pizzas are unforgivable: pale, flimsy disks adorned with barbecued chicken or mozzarella and truffle oil.
