The decor, which includes a nifty patio, is urbane and chic, in keeping with the rest of the Luxe’s smart renovation. The food falls into a more homespun category. Tuna tartare—spiked with chile—is a large mound served with taro chips. A perfectly cooked whitefish comes with a mashed potato-spinach combo. The chicken is a good bet, but stay away from the mac and cheese. Service couldn’t be more personable.
