Larchmont Grill

Restaurateur Jay Fagnano (Indigo) has spruced up the old House space with olive print banquettes, a new bar, and cheery aquamarine chairs on the porch. At lunch, the chicken tortilla soup is thick and tomatoey and a grilled steak salad with arugula and romaine is sprinkled with blue cheese and topped with rosy-centered beef. Come dinner, Korean barbecued short ribs, pork chops with apple-raisin chutney, and salmon with a sherry-honey glaze are up for grabs. It’s nice to have the lights back on in this Craftsman.
