Do not underestimate the power of a good sandwich-and-salad spot. This breezy new Eagle Rock venture provides gourmet lunch fuel like a crispy pancetta and fig salad with Point Reyes blue cheese; a grilled asparagus sandwich with shaved fennel, sheep’s milk feta, and avocado; and kids’ options like a mini bowl of beef chili and a crustless PB&J. On display are rotating baked goods such as the blood orange upside-down cake and an apple tart with vanilla poached pears in a shortbread crust. For breakfast, try the quinoa with berries, cinnamon, and pecans.
