Edoardo Baldi, formerly the chef at his dad’s celeb-giddy restaurant in Santa Monica Canyon, has opened an Italian place of his own. Like Giorgio Baldi, the space is small and the food on the light side of traditional. The list of “specials” (which rarely changes) is numbingly long and recited, not written. Meaning? The price tag can easily head north before you know it.
