The place is packed, and the food explains it. Joojeh kabob (Cornish hen with vegetables), zereshk polow (chicken with sour barberries and saffron), and the gheimeh bademjan (eggplant stew with beef-and-saffron tomato sauce) are enough to make you a regular. Dessert? Persian vanilla ice cream flavored with rose water and saffron.
