Caffe Roma

Ago Sciandri of Ago owns this indoor-outdoor spot that amounts to a local club. Everyone’s on the patio: the baby-faced agent proud of his cigar, the white-haired producer, the lady with the poodle in her purse. Delightful salads with fruity olive oil, little pizzas, al dente (did that noodle just snap?) pastas, and grilled fish and meats fuel the conversation—Italian as often as English—and people linger for hours.
