Great Mind Robotics

Best Kids’ Build-a-Bot Class, August 2014

If you’re looking for a battle-bot birthday bash, visit Glendale’s Rolling Robots. If you want your child to assemble the next WALL-E, Great Mind Robotics is the place to be. Expert-led classes, purchased in $160 packages of four, take kids ages six and older through the basics (LEGO droids with picture-based coding) to the far beyond (computer languages that power infinitely modular machines), all within a 4,500-square-foot lab. One summer camp project produced SkyBase, a wall-crawling automaton that’s deadly…at tic-tac-toe.
