Aloud at Central Library
Since the reopening of the Central Library in 1993, the Library Foundation’s award-winning ALOUD at Central Library series has provided a forum for civic discourse and presenting different points of view. Based in the Mark Taper Auditorium, ALOUD at Central Library offers audiences a way to connect with local authors, journalists, scholars and experts in their field. The ALOUD program features lectures, readings, performances, and conversations featuring key figures in the arts and humanities, business, politics, and sciences. While generally free of charge, reservations are necessary.
